Mowgli
Mowgli is an AI design canvas for mobile, web and desktop interfaces. The official design-generation workflow starts with product understanding and a specification, then creates screens that can be edited and handed off. It is a design and prototyping tool, not evidence that a complete production backend has been implemented.
Work through the product brief
Mowgli asks questions about the idea before producing a detailed product specification. That stage is useful for identifying the audience, features and journeys that a visually attractive first screen might omit. Review the resulting PRD for assumptions and missing requirements before building on it.
The design workflow offers multiple flagship-screen variations and lets users choose or remix a direction. The moodboard is a separate way to explore visual styles using a palette, descriptive brief or reference images. Selecting a style then gives the following screens a shared visual direction.
The homepage also describes importing an existing Figma file or bringing an existing product through a coding-agent connection. Those inputs support a different starting point from generating a new product solely from a sentence.
Review flows as well as screens
The tool supports chat-driven changes to elements, screens and flows. The publisher says the specification stays in sync as the design changes. Inspect that relationship during evaluation: removing a screen should not silently leave contradictory requirements in the specification.
Mowgli also describes interactive prototypes with navigation and transitions. Use a prototype to discuss the journey, then check empty, error and alternative states rather than considering only the main path. The promise to cover every screen is not independent proof that a generated design has no omissions.
Export routes include Figma, React code and agent-ready packages. Coding agents can connect over MCP for a documented two-way design/code synchronization workflow. Review the generated handoff and resulting implementation before treating the output as ready to ship.
Budget credits and handoff features
The Free plan includes 300 credits, moodboard exploration, wireframes, questionnaire/PRD generation and Figma import. Paid tiers add full-app design generation, prototypes and export features. A free agent connection therefore does not establish that every export route or level of design generation is free.
The displayed paid prices include annual-billing equivalents, so check the selected billing cycle and total charge rather than treating a monthly equivalent as month-to-month pricing. Team adds shared credits and real-time collaboration.
The captured FAQ does not give complete costs for each action. Estimate the expected iteration budget from the current usage terms, and test representative design changes. This overview is based on published material, not an account-based design or MCP integration test.
