Pixso is a collaborative product-design workspace for interface design, prototypes, whiteboards and developer handoff. Its official overview presents AI tools within that wider design environment. Teams can use it to explore layouts, maintain components, collect comments and share implementation references.

Move from planning to a prototype

The whiteboard supports mood boards, research notes, brainstorming, mind maps and workflow diagrams. Interface editing adds vector tools, typography, auto layout, grids and visual effects. Reusable components, styles and design tokens help a team work from agreed design values instead of rebuilding each screen separately.

Prototypes connect frames with triggers and transitions. Supported interactions can be previewed on mobile, and designs can contain videos or GIFs. A linked prototype is useful for reviewing a proposed user flow, but it does not demonstrate that the implemented application behaves correctly.

Pixso supports importing design files from tools including Figma, Sketch and Adobe XD. Check an imported copy against its source, particularly before making it the basis for shared components or production work.

Keep review and handoff in the same workspace

Collaborators can edit shared files and leave contextual comments. Teams can publish approved styles and components to a library, name milestones, and use available version history. Access and retention depend on permissions and the plan.

Developer handoff includes inspection of supported layers, exportable assets and code references. Pixso's Dev view provides sections marked ready for development. Use that output as implementation guidance: developers still need to check integration, accessibility and behavior in the actual application.

Check seats and AI credits separately

The pricing documentation separates personal, team and enterprise AI credits. Those balances apply to different workspaces and are not transferable. It also separates editor credits from Paico text-to-design credits.

AI feature availability depends on the seat type and file-editing permissions. Creator seats include Design AI and Whiteboard AI, while the listed Developer and Collaborator seats include Whiteboard AI. A free viewer seat is therefore not evidence of unrestricted editing or generation access.

Pixso fits teams that want planning, interface drafts, reusable assets and review in one place. Before migrating a project, test its imports, collaboration permissions and required AI actions with a copy of representative work. Review generated design content before adding it to a shared library.
