In one lineFloatboat is a calendar-driven agent workspace for preparing and running scheduled work, with desktop downloads and credit-based usage.

Floatboat uses calendar events as triggers for agent work. The publisher describes preparation before a time block, execution at the scheduled time and follow-up afterward, with a desktop workspace for Mac and Windows.

Turn a calendar block into a bounded task

The Floatboat homepage names Google Calendar, Notion Calendar, Lark, Outlook, iCloud and ICS feeds as supported calendar sources. It presents each time block as a way to fire an agent rather than merely display a meeting. That intended behavior makes task scope and permissions part of setup.

Begin with a non-destructive task whose result you can inspect, such as preparing material for an upcoming session. Confirm the trigger time and the exact actions allowed before trusting a schedule to run unattended. A calendar entry should not grant permission to send messages, spend money or change external data unless you have configured and approved those actions.

Check the workspace and continuity claims

Floatboat offers Mac downloads for Apple Silicon and Intel, plus a Microsoft Store option and Windows installer. It also links a FloatIM iOS download. Check the system requirements and the relationship between the desktop workspace and mobile app before assuming they provide identical capabilities.

The company page identifies AOE Tech Labs Limited as the operator and describes retaining work context over time. That is the publisher's product approach, not a guarantee that an agent will remember every instruction or execute a week without errors. Review the actual task record after a run and check how changing or canceling a calendar event affects scheduled work.

Read credit and renewal terms

The pricing page describes monthly billing and cancellation, with a separate booster pack for extra credits. The displayed pack provides 3,000 credits for $12.99 and says those booster credits remain valid for one year. It also says a pack does not change the subscription's renewal terms.

Do not use that pack price as the subscription price or assume that subscription credits have the same expiry. Confirm how a scheduled task consumes credits and what happens when the balance runs out. The pricing page advertises access to third-party model names; check which options are actually available in your account and avoid treating an advertised model list as a guarantee of identical limits or behavior across providers.
