会译

Translates web pages side by side with the original, plus PDFs, selected text, screenshots and video subtitles, for Chinese-speaking readers.

What it does

Huiyi (会译) translates web pages in Chrome with the original and translated text side by side, using DeepL and DeepSeek engines. It is aimed at Chinese-speaking readers who browse foreign news, study languages or read papers and videos in other languages.

Key features

  • Shows bilingual side-by-side translation of entire web pages
  • Translates PDFs while keeping the original layout
  • Adds bilingual subtitles to YouTube and Bilibili videos
  • Translates selected words with phonetics and audio, plus screenshot translation
  • Detects the source language automatically and includes a built-in dictionary

Use cases

  • Reading foreign news sites alongside a Chinese translation
  • Translating an academic PDF without losing formatting
  • Watching a foreign-language video with dual subtitles

Getting started

On a foreign-language page, click the translate-this-site button or the floating icon on the right edge to switch translation on or off. You can also hover over a paragraph with a shortcut key to translate it.

Good to know

The interface and listing are in Chinese. Page text is sent to third-party translation and AI engines for processing.
