In one lineVideoSwap offers face and character replacement, motion transfer and video stylization, with per-second credit charges and conflicting plan allowances to check.

VideoSwap processes existing footage and reference images into altered video. Its four advertised tasks are face swapping, character replacement, motion control and style transfer. The choice depends on what you want to change in the source performance.

Choose the transformation and its inputs

The VideoSwap website distinguishes changing a face from replacing a whole character. For motion control, it describes transferring a reference performance to a still character image. Style transfer changes the visual treatment of footage, such as an illustrated or cinematic appearance.

Its feature table specifies a face or character image plus a reference video for the replacement and motion workflows. For style transfer, it lists source footage with a preset, style image or text instruction. Those input differences matter when preparing an example: a photograph alone and a recorded performance provide different information to the generator.

Use footage and likenesses you have permission to edit. A convincing face replacement can misrepresent who appeared in a recording, so preserve consent and disclose synthetic changes where viewers could mistake them for real events.

Estimate the processing credits

The pricing page lists two credits per second for Professional face swapping. A five-second clip therefore has a displayed ten-credit example. Motion control costs four or eight credits per second in the listed Standard and Professional modes, while style transfer is listed at five. Confirm the chosen mode's charge before processing longer footage.

The FAQ specifies a maximum file size of 50 MB and clip limits of ten to 15 seconds depending on the feature. It says one-time credit packs do not expire, while unused subscription credits reset at renewal.

Resolve plan details before subscribing

The plan cards and a separate reference note show different allowances. The cards list Basic at 100 credits, Pro at 500 and Ultimate at 1,000; the reference note instead lists 500, 1,000 and 4,300. Confirm the allowance and billing period at checkout rather than calculating a budget from either display alone.

The operator advertises commercial use subject to rights in the input material and its terms. Its promises of flicker-free results and secure processing are vendor claims, not Franklin tests or a privacy audit. Start with a short authorized clip and inspect expressions, boundaries and continuity before relying on the output.
