Image Prompts' image-to-prompt tool analyzes an uploaded image and produces a written prompt for another generation. It accepts photographs, illustrations, and AI-generated images as visual references. The useful output is a new description of the desired subject and style, not the original prompt hidden inside a file.

Describe a reference for another generation

The publisher explicitly says no tool can recover the literal original prompt from an image. Its tool instead analyzes composition, lighting, and visual style, then structures a new request. That distinction matters if you want to recreate one of your own previous results: the new prompt is an interpretation, not a recovered record of the settings you used.

You can upload by dropping, pasting, or selecting an image. The described workflow then asks for a target model and mode before returning a copy-ready prompt. Users can edit that output or send it to the site's image generator. Franklin has not tested whether a generated prompt reproduces a reference's appearance.

Choose how closely to follow the image

The site lists Closer Match and More Creative modes. It describes the first as prioritizing composition and style details, and the second as allowing more interpretation. Those are intended directions for the prompt, not guarantees of an exact replica or a particular level of creativity.

The tool also offers General and Midjourney-oriented formatting. The publisher describes parameter flags for Midjourney and a subject, style, lighting, and technical structure for general models. Check that any generated parameters are valid in the model version you actually use.

Distinguish free prompts from paid images

The publisher says basic image-to-prompt use is free and requires no account. Its separate pricing page sells one-time image-generation credit packs, including Starter at $15 for 3,000 credits before applicable taxes.

Purchased credits do not expire, according to the site, but image counts depend on model and resolution. Buying credits is therefore different from paying to extract a prompt. Review the current output license and use reference material you have permission to transform; the site's commercial-use statement is conditional on non-infringing inputs.
