Trupeer converts a screen recording into a narrated video, written guide or tutorial. You can record through its Chrome extension or upload an existing walkthrough, then edit the script and steps. The product targets training, support and product demonstrations where the same workflow needs both a visual explanation and a written reference.
Check the guide against the actual workflow
The documentation feature describes action detection, screenshots and structured sections. You can adjust text, replace screenshots and apply a document template before sharing. PDF export and embeds into tools such as Zendesk, Intercom and Notion are advertised.
Review the generated sequence against the recording. A click may be visible without explaining why the user needs it, and a guide can omit a prerequisite that the presenter assumed. Confirm labels and permissions before publishing instructions for another team.
Video features include automatic zooms, voiceover and chapters. AI-generated narration can clean up a rough explanation, but it still needs factual review. A polished script should not introduce a product capability absent from the recorded workflow.
Budget generation and translation separately
The pricing FAQ lists 100 credits per minute of AI video, 50 credits per document and another 50 credits per minute for an avatar. Translation costs 100 credits per minute for each target language. Exporting or re-exporting already-generated content does not consume credits.
Unused subscription credits do not roll over. When the pool runs out, new generation pauses, while existing content remains available to edit, share and export. Paid plans can purchase additional credits at the published rate of $4 per 100.
The Free offer is described as ten days, with five-minute recordings and 1,000 credits in its usage list. Pro lists one creator seat, 2,000 monthly credits and ten-minute recordings; Scale lists three seats, 10,000 credits and fifteen-minute recordings. The capture contains different price displays for monthly/yearly views, so confirm the selected billing period and checkout total.
Verify translation and sharing permissions
Language counts vary across the site: documentation and avatar pages mention 65+, pricing says 100+, and the homepage says 120+. Plan-specific translation allowances also limit how many languages you can actively use. Confirm the target language and voice rather than assuming all advertised counts describe the same feature.
The avatar page advertises HeyGen presenters and custom avatars. Obtain consent before cloning a person's face or voice. Enterprise pricing reserves several custom-clone and governance features for that tier.
Trupeer advertises security certifications, redaction and identity integrations, but the captured pages are vendor claims rather than the underlying audit reports. Check sharing defaults and the applicable security evidence before recording confidential systems. A guide made from your screen can expose customer information even if its instructions are accurate.
